Hello my loves!

I got my lens last week and I tested it out on Sunday at the zoo! It was fun, except for the fact that I got pooped on by a bird. LOL. But, hey, it's good luck right?

I'll be posting quite a few of my shots from the zoo, especially since I'm sick and will not be able to do anything else. Seriously. I can't even get out of bed. Oh, and I'll be making a real portfolio with some 8x10 prints of my work soon. I'm so excited.

Anyways, I've been seeing this story ALL OVER the internet and TV and I'm sure you've all heard about it. It's the story about Miley Cyrus' photoshoot with Annie Leibovitz. I'll start by giving you my opinion on this.
From what I know Miley Cyrus is 15 years old. In her photos from the photo shoot she is draped in a blanket. And her back is exposed. In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with this photo. It is artistically done and her father was on set. I personally believe the photos are stunning. There are a lot of worse things that a 15 year old could be doing, seriously.
Furthermore, the photos are for a Vanity Fair spread, and parents are complaining that she is being a poor role model for their 7 year old daughters. I have one thing to say...If you let your 7 year old kid use a Vanity Fair as a coloring book, there is something wrong with you.
Another thing, people are blaming the poor girl for this whole ordeal. She is a child! A 15 year old's brain is not developed enough to truly process the consequences of a decision like this. It was her parents' ultimate responsibility to stop her from participating if they felt it was inappropriate.
Anyways, what I'm asking is...Is it wrong for me to think that the photos are perfectly fine and artistic? What do you think? Are they slutty or classy?
