Hello, hello my lovely little rosebuds [don't ask where that came from].

How have you all been? Please tell me...really.

I've been trying to make more time for personal photography projects but have been lacking inspiration. I'm thinking that perhaps I should just leap, and start taking pictures and see what comes of it. Most of the photos I've been uploading are the products of school photoshoots. Meh.

Anyways, I am now 20 years old. You have no idea how much it bothers me that I am no longer a teenager! My birthday was fun...got drunk, had a birthday cake, went to work the next day hungover, you know, the whole sha-bang. I got a 1TB external HD which is amazing and will allow for me to take and save a crap load of less than amazing photos, hahaha. Oh, and did I mention that I'm thinking about getting a nose piericing? Yes. I will post photos when it gets done.

I've felt so disconnected from dA lately, and I don't like it! It's shameful!
So maybe I'll start doing some features or something or maybe a news article. Someone give me some ideas.

Yah, when I was taking photography classes I didn't do any personal photography. Everything I shot was for class. So don't worry about it if you're uninspired. Just work on school shoots. At least you're taking pictures! Once your classes are over, you're sure to get back into personal photography!

I feel similar. I'm not as old as you (joke) but since starting uni I don't feel that any of my work is very personal, though I guess I'll have plenty of time for that later in the course. :)
